Marintopia Resort is very particular about food.
We place particular importance on using fresh local ingredients.
The Tango area, where Miyazu is located, is a treasure trove of ingredients, blessed with delicacies from the mountains and the sea throughout the four seasons.
In spring, sea bream and tuna are in season; in summer, pike conger, abalone, and chicken clams; in autumn, blackthroat fish, longtooth grouper, and matsutake mushrooms; and in winter, when the crab fishing season opens on November 6, local crabs such as the "Taiza crab," reputedly the most fantastic Matsuba crab, make their appearance.
Yellowtail caught in Ine Town, where one of Japan's three major yellowtail fishing grounds is located, is a wintertime tradition in Tango.
Many locally grown vegetables and fruits are also available. Tango is also a region where strawberry cultivation is flourishing, especially in Miyazu City, Kyoto.



That is why we want visitors to this area to taste to their heart's content what is unique to Tango.
At "Mezzo All Suite Villas," we offer "Glamping BBQ" and "Traditional Kyoto Seafood," both of which use plenty of local ingredients so that visitors can enjoy food that can only be found here.

Glamorize the outdoors with a glamping BBQ

The BBQ in your private villa features high-quality Japanese black beef steaks, thick bacon steaks, and Amanohashidate sausages, as well as live abalone and fresh seafood from the surrounding waters.
Local fish from Miyazu is used in the aqua pazza, and the daily skillet dishes are also rich in fresh local vegetables and carefully selected seafood.
For salads, fresh vegetables harvested from our farm are served with three unique sauces: "Garlic Sauce," "Cheese Sauce," and "Hollandaise Sauce".
While the meat is cooking, wine or champagne will be served with the salad.

Experience the Four Seasons of the Sea of Japan through Food: Traditional Kyoto Seafood

Kyo-kaiseki, a Kyoto-style traditional meal filled with seasonal delicacies from the Sea of Japan, is prepared by the chefs of Amanohashidate Rikyu Hoshion, a group facility of Metso All-Suite Villas, which attracts travelers from all over the country in search of food.
Dried fish, creative sashimi, and sushi are made with fish from Miyazu, Kyoto.
Vegetables used for salads are fresh vegetables harvested from our farm located near the facility.
Other dishes include grilled live abalone, Japanese black beef in a small pot, and seasonal desserts.
Please enjoy them in the comfort of your room.
